It’s a busy week on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation with Indian days in full swing. Tomorrow afternoon the opening ceremonies will take place at 4pm at Pike Lake. It will be followed by the shooting of the 4 flaming arrows at 5pm. Each year the flaming arrows are shot into the trees with the finding person receiving $100 for each. Games and events are planned for the entire week of the 51stannual Indian Days.
