The Opaskwayak Cree Nation Child and Family Services and Opaskwayak Health Authority in collaboration with the Northern Summer Institute is once again putting on a culture camp this year starting tomorrow and running until Thursday. This years theme will be “Rites of Passage”. Some workshops held include “Rights of Passage”, “Domestic Violence” and “Mental Health”. There will also be land based activities at Moose Park available including medicine picking, moose hunting expeditions and Canoeing. Keynote speakers for the week are Andrew Bear, Janet Fox and Nellie Ironquill, with sound provided by David Cook. Meals and Snacks will also be served.
