Opaskwayak Cree Nation will be hosting a traditional POW wow next weekend with the theme “Empowering our Youth”. The festivities will take place at the OCN Arbor Site, with grand entry starting at 7PM on the 12th. There will be prizes awarded for different events held, such as in Hand Drum singing, Dancing, and Drumming. Dancing categories include Tiny Tots, juniors, Teens, Teen Adults, Senior Adults, and Golden Age. A feast will follow the events on Saturday at 5PM.
