The Citizens on Patrol Program are celebrating 25 years of service in Manitoba this year. In The Pas it’s year 23 and Elsie Reid the local Co-ordinator of COPP explains how much work goes into the program.
COPP is a program that works in assistance with the RCMP. COPP members are out patrolling every day, they do things from speed watch, to seat belt and cell phone surveys, to security and traffic control for community events.
