The Kelsey School Division will have a new superintendent and CEO when the 2016/17 school year starts. As of August 2016 Julia McKay will be taking over from Doug Long as the new head of the division. Mckay brings a wealth of administrative and teaching experience to the position. She has held positions as educational assistant, teacher, assistant principal and principal at Kelsey Community School and MBCI. She has also worked in adult education and as a faculty member at UCN Faculty of Education. She is currently working on her master’s degree through the University of Manitoba.
