A member of the OCN Blizzard and his sister will be hosting a charity Hockey game for Braden Pettinger. Pettinger is a defenseman from the Portage Terriers who suffered a life altering spinal injury back in November. Maverick Rafter and his sister Tatiana Rafter will be hosting the game in Winnipeg on December 22nd. The Rafters have invited Male and Female hockey players from throughout the MJHL, WHL, NCAA, CIS and the National Women’s Hockey League. Some of the events planned for the day include 50/50 draw, a Silent Auction, bake sale, chuck a puck, and player meet and greet. The event aims to donate 75% of the funds raised to Braden Pettinger and his family, and 25% of the funds will go to the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg.
