A program is underway here in The Pas to help Chase the Chill away. Chase the Chill is a program asking residents to knit or crochet scarves that will be used to decorate the Town of The Pass Office and Area. Shirley Barbeau with Chase the Chill says , it's been 3 years since the program started, and has grown substantially every year.

The scarves will be tied around trees, benches and posts and who ever needs one is welcome to take one free of charge. The idea is that less fortunate people around town will be able to help themselves and chase the chill away this winter. They will be meeting on Saturday at 9am at the Christ Anglican Church.
