May 29th is Tickled Pink Day. The annual day is celebrated across the world, but originates in Canada and started as a protest against a bullying incident at a high school in Nova Scotia in 2007, when a grade nine student, Charles McNeill, arrived to school wearing a pink shirt. Everyone is encouraged to wear pick on the 29th and the TPCRC would like businesses to join in. The TPCRC as well as some members from the RCMP will be visiting schools for an anti-bullying walk.
