Highway Construction

Transportation Minister Ron Kostyshyn has announced the Manitoba Government is investing heavily this year in road and bridge upgrades in the north.

In 2015, the Manitoba government will invest 78-million dollars in major infrastructure projects. Majority of the paving will take place closer to Flin Flon including, paving of 29.6 kilometers from Wanless to highway 39, grading 17 kilometers from the Flin Flon airport access to the east junction of highway 10A and intersection improvements from the Flin Flon airport access to the east junction of highway 10A.

Kostyshyn says the north is critical to the health of the Manitoba economy and these improvements will ensure businesses and municipalities can continue to grow and prosper.
