The 26th annual Snow Lake Winter Festival runs today through Sunday. 

One of the organizers Kim Stephen says their theme this year is Super Heroes, and they encourage everyone to wear costumes when they come out for the events.

She explains that shortly after 3 this afternoon at the school will be the freezie hunt and then they’ll go out into the ice worm hunt and on to the third annual Mark Gogal memorial road hockey tournament, which has people from across the country coming to attend.

Some of the other events will be the human curling and scavenger hunt, that take place tomorrow.  Entertainment this year is Seanster and the Monsters along with the famous Bubble Man.

There's lots of events planned throughout the entire weekend with a raffle of two return airline tickets from Calm Air on Sunday.
