Trafficking Charges Have Been Laid in The Pas.

On December 30th The Pas RCMP executed a controlled drug and substances act search warrant at a residence on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation.  During the search police seized more than one kilogram of marijhuana and more than 15 thousand dollars in Canadian currency. 

A 34 year old man from OCN was arrested and later released to appear in court in The Pas on March 3rd.  He is charged with possessing marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and possessing the proceeds of crime.  A 27 year old woman from OCN was also arrested in connection to the investigation but was later released without charges.
