Socks from Santa is a holiday program that’s back once again this year. 102.9 CJAR were happy to support the idea of collecting socks for the homeless which was suggested last year by our Morning show host Mark Andrews.

Andrews explained that this year we'd like to expand on the idea and asking you to donate other warm garments like toques, mitts, and scarves, and blankets, as well as socks.  

Anything you would like to donate to Socks from Santa can be dropped off at 102.9 CJAR up until Christmas and will then be donated to the homeless shelter. Last year close to 400 pairs of socks were donated.
