The Flin Flon/Creighton Seniors Choir meets every Friday at 1:15 pm in the Seniors Centre at the Flin Flon Community Hall. Everyone is welcome to enter in an hour of singing.
The RDPC Drama department will present an original play, written and produced by their grade 12 students, called "Fixed in the Stars." Based on historical events of the 1940s, it follows a Canadian family through their stuggles during the Second World War.
Please be aware that Parental discretion is strongly advised for younger audiences. Admission is $2 and all admission proceeds to be donated to a Canadian Verteran's Charity.
The play will be shown on Friday, June 29th at the Letkemann Theatre. Doors open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7pm.
The Thompson Boys and Girls Club is reopening the Afterschool Program on June 25, 2018 at 3:30 pm.
The Summer Brain Gain day camp will start July 3, 2018 at 9 am – 2 pm
Summer Camp starts July 3, 2018 from 2-7 pm

The BGCT is also going to be celebrating their 25th anniversary and events are in the works.
What is The Great Canadian Giving Challenge? It is a national public contest to benefit any registered Canadian charity. Every $1 donated to a registered charity in June via CanadaHelps.org or GivingChallenge.ca, automatically enters the charity to win an additional $10,000 donation. The grand prize draw is on Canada Day and one lucky charity will receive the grand prize of $10,000.
Did the Great Canadian Giving Challenge make a difference last year? In 2017, 77,785 Canadians participated, donating almost $10 million to over 10,000 charities, representing an 83% increase in donations compared to June 2014, the year before the inaugural launch of the challenge in 2015.
