Futures & Baby's First Start is holding a wide variety of free events and programs for families throughout the month of June. Futures is located at 125 Commerical Place and is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am- 3:00pm
Come join them every Thursday for parenting programs and a Babies First Start pre natal groups.
Dads can also get together from 6:00pm- 8:00pm for a Dad's Group! Snacks provided.
Come over to the YWCA for their Steps to Success Program! They are offering a variety of Essential Skills training courses throughout the month of April. If you are interested, call 204-677-5016 or drop in and visit the good folks in the basement of the YWCA for more information.
Come in every Tuesday & Thursday for their Conversational English Learning Lunches from 12:10pm- 12:50pm
Free To Be Me is a support group for those with a mental illness. The group meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the St. Peter and St. James Anglican Church. For more information, contact Judy at 306-362-2305.
We have a great opportunity coming up that will be of interest to artists, arts groups/organizations, educators and other community groups interested in arts programming or partnerships. NorVA will be hosting the Manitoba Arts Council Information Session in Flin Flon, MB on Thursday, April 19th. This information session will outline the latest changes to MAC's grant programs and new online grant application process. Children get bingo cards and read books with certain parameters to check off the squares, once they get a line or a black out they can get a prize.
