Adult Blood Pressure Clinic

From 1:00PM to 4:00PM

Stop at the Nor-Man Primary Health Care Centre (1 North Avenue) to have your blood pressure checked by a nurse on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 pm. Call 204-687-1354 for more information.

Steps to Success Basic Computer Training

From 1:00PM to 3:00PM

Come over to the YWCA for their Steps to Success Program! They are offering a variety of courses throughout the month of May. If you are interested, call 204-677-5016 or drop in and visit the good folks in the basement of the YWCA for more information.

 

Come in from May 1st to May 5th, between the hours of 1pm and 3pm, for their Basic Computer Training. 

Free To Be Me

From 1:30PM to 3:30PM

Free To Be Me is a support group for those with a mental illness. The group meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the St. Peter and St. James Anglican Church. For more information, contact Judy at 306-362-2305.

CMHA Thompson's Mental Health Week Events

You are invited to participate in CMHA Thompson's Mental Health Week!

 

Mental Health Week is the first week in May and the theme is to GET LOUD for mental health. CMHA Thompson has a full week of events planned that are all free to participate in.

 

Monday May 1- Kick off BBQ at CMHA Thompson on 43 Fox Bay from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.

 

Tuesday May 2- Brunch and Learn at the Meridian from 10:00am to 12:00pm (The topic is "Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace- The Canadian National Standard")

 

Wednesday May 3- Film Night at the Library from 5:00pm- 7:00pm (Film is "When the Voices Fell Silent"

 

Thursday May 4- "Exploring the Journey of Recovery" Workshop at the Thompson Pentecostal Assembly Church from 1:00pm- 4:00pm. This workshop is for service users and service providers.

 

Friday May 5- CMHA Thompson Staff will be handing out free coffee and Mental Heath literature within the community.
